Welcome to Happy Maps. By downloading or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Happy Maps. By using the app, you confirm that you are 18 or older. Happy Maps is a nightlife application and is not intended for minors.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. You may not use another person's account without permission.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Happy Maps to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorization.
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written consent.

4. Nightlife and Safety

Happy Maps provides information about nightlife venues and user intentions for entertainment purposes only. We do not endorse any specific venue or guarantee the accuracy of venue information. You are solely responsible for your own safety and decisions when going out. Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive.

5. School Verification

If you choose to verify a university email address to join a school group, you confirm that you are a current student or alumni of that institution and that the email address belongs to you. Happy Maps is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any university. School group features are independently operated by Happy Maps.

6. User Content

Happy Maps does not currently support user-generated content such as photos or posts. Any information you provide (such as your intended bar destination) is used solely to power the app's core features as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Blocking and Reporting

We provide tools to block and report other users. We take reports seriously and may remove users who violate these terms. However, we cannot guarantee immediate action on every report.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings screen in the app. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Happy Maps is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the information provided will always be accurate or up to date.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Happy Maps and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
